On
January 26, 1999, Rev. Kenneth Kepler, a former PCUSA
missionary, died during sleep. He was 93.
Rev.
Ken Kepler was a former Presbyterian missionary who had
served in China and Taiwan. Kepler came to Taiwan in 1956
and has served in various capacity in this country, as
pastor of he Friendship Corner Presbyterian Church in
Taipei, teacher at the Presbyterian Bible College in Hsinchu,
and Taiwan Theological College and Seminary in Taipei, and
in church building and evangelical work in the aboriginal
churches, particularly in the Tayal tribe. He retired in
1970.
Rev.
Kenneth Kepler is survived by his three children, Mrs. J. E.
Coverdale, Mrs. S. F. Sapp,Jr and Rev. K. M. Kepler, Jr.
Mrs. Sapp and her husband are missionaries in Japan.
For
the last five to ten years Ken Kepler has been in ill
health. Thus his passing is both a relief to himself and his
love ones who often saw him in pain from his infirmities.
May God comfort the family of Kenneth Kepler
